For the Mastercard stand at Salone dei Pagamenti 2025, held at Allianz MiCo in Milan, a highly immersive and technologically advanced environment was created through a strong collaboration between leading creative and technical partners.
The project was developed for Mastercard by Competitive Mind srl, the international agency responsible for Marketing and BTL activities. The architectural concept and structural design of the stand were curated by Giammetta Architects, who shaped a contemporary and dynamic space aligned with Mastercard’s brand identity.
Ultravioletto, in collaboration with Competitive Mind srl for Mastercard, handled the supply and integration of software technology and ceiling lighting systems, designing a distinctive and scenographic lighting installation.
Ultravioletto created a structure composed of 570 DMX-controlled spheres, distributed along the entire perimeter of the stand. This complex lighting system generated evolving three-dimensional light effects, transforming the space into a living, responsive environment.
The lighting design was conceived to enhance depth, movement, and spatial perception, with carefully programmed light sequences that interacted with the architecture and the flow of visitors. Variations in intensity, color, and rhythm allowed the stand to continuously change its visual identity throughout the day, reinforcing engagement and creating a memorable, immersive experience.
