Butterfly Hypothesis – Interactive Kinetic Installation

Butterfly Hypothesis is an interactive kinetic installation designed exclusively for the Zhong Hang Rainbow Mall in Shenzhen.

This artwork refers to a fantastic and imaginary world by playing with the concept of light and the fairytale world. The diamond’s dimensions are out of scale as in the marvellous dreams, all to bring the shine and the shimmer to a human scale.The butterfly swarm make the kinetic part, they move vertically up and down depending on the position of the visitor around the installation, enriching the users experience and making the visitor part of the installation.
