405 Dialogues

Dialogues & Laser in fields

Laser light mixed with kinetic sculpture

405 Dialogues is a kinetic site-specific installation that makes light and movement its key elements. The installation explores the relationship between light and the surrounding space by generating communication artifacts born by the interaction of these elements. 405 nanometers is the wave length of the visible light in this installation, an ethereal flux of 100 lasers in continuous evolution that dialogues with the surroundings. 405 Dialogues was presented premiered at the 2016 RO-MAP Interactive Light Festival of Rome in the Palazzo Altemps cloister, one of the most prestigious ancient buildings in Rome. Over 5,000 people attended the performances during the three days of the festival.

405 Laser in fields nanometers is the light wavelength of this installation. 200 lasers create an ever-changing ethereal flow and dialogue with space. “405 Fields” plays with the perception of the environment, continuously redefining the viewer’s point of view. The work invites viewers to immerse themselves in a show made of light, mathematics and sound unique in its kind.
